Price: $2,100
Danny Valencia is a guy who boasts some extreme platoon splits. For fantasy purposes, this means he's generally all but unplayable against right-handed pitching, but he is also typically under-priced when he's up against a southpaw.
Over his career, the difference is massive as he owns a .372 wOBA against lefties and .297 clip against righties. Last season wasn't much different, with a .297 wOBA against righties and a .353 wOBA, .184 ISO and 38.8% hard-hit rate against lefties.
J.A. Happ is a competent pitcher, though his 4.11 SIERA in 2017 wasn't anything special. He's not someone to get excited about as a fantasy matchup, but Valencia is priced only $100 above the minimum, making it easier for him to return value even in a pedestrian spot like this.
