Underdogs at Coors Field tonight, the San Diego Padres' offense is pretty cheap across the board, despite their implied total of 4.54 runs being a top-five mark for the day.
Colorado Rockies southpaw Tyler Anderson has had a rough start to the season, while his 4.14 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in 2017 already represented a step back from the mark (3.84) he posted in his 2016 rookie campaign. He has allowed a .345 wOBA to right-handed bats over his young career, making this an appealing spot for the righty-heavy Padres lineup.
Hunter Renfroe has had an ugly start to the seaosn, but he's coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him tag left-handed pitchers for a monster .439 wOBA and .368 isolated slugging (ISO) on a 35.9% hard-hit and 53.3% fly-ball rate.
That batted-ball profile is particularly appealing at Coors, and he has a ton of upside here.
