Fantasy Baseball: 4 Pitchers to Stream in Week 3
Southpaw Sean Newcomb takes on a Mets team that's been coming up empty against lefties this season. Which other widely available starters should season-long owners target for Week 3?

Junior Guerra, Milwaukee Brewers

Starts: April 17th vs. Cincinnati Reds, April 22nd vs. Miami Marlins
ESPN percentage owned: 1.2%

It's hard to know why exactly, in this pitching-starved climate, Junior Guerra is almost universally available in ESPN leagues. Fantasy players do tend to have short memories, overlooking his 2016 campaign with the Milwaukee Brewers (2.81 ERA, 3.71 FIP over 121.2 innings) in favor of his ugly, injury-shortened 2017 (5.12 ERA, 6.58 FIP over 70.1 innings).

Perhaps the story is even simpler: Guerra is a 33-year-old who doesn't strike out enough batters and walks too many. In other words, he has pretty much the antithesis of fantasy appeal, and so he's there for the taking on your waiver wire, lined up to face two of the least productive offenses in the majors in Week 3.

You don't need to be utterly desperate to hold your nose and add Guerra -- the veteran righty makes for a solid plug-and-play option in all but the shallowest of leagues.
