5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/12/18
Brian Goodwin will likely be atop the order for Washington, a team with the main slate's top implied total. Which other budget-friendly bats should you target on Thursday?

Brian Goodwin, OF, Washington Nationals

Price: $2,600

Going back to the Washington Nationals' promising matchup against Bettis, the Nats' 5.11 implied total is the highest of any team in action on Thursday.

We project Brian Goodwin to bat leadoff, and any time you can get the leadoff hitter in the night's most promising offense at a salary this low, it's going to be an enticing option.

It's not just external circumstances that make Goodwin a strong value, however. He's off to a strong start to 2018, and he has done decent work against right-handed pitching over his young career. Over 295 plate appearances in the split, he has a 34.9% hard-hit rate and .324 wOBA.

Our models have Goodwin as a top-five point-per-dollar value on the main slate.
