5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/13/18
Some bad luck has kept Ryan Zimmerman's production down in 2018, but he still offers big upside tonight. What other budget-friendly hitters should you be targeting?

Evan Gattis, C, Houston Astros

Price: $2,600

The Houston Astros own Friday's third-highest implied total (5.07) as they host southpaw Cole Hamels and the Texas Rangers.

Hamels is coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him post a career-worst 4.90 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA). He had a particularly rough time against right-handed hitters, with a 5.01 xFIP and a 37.9% hard-hit rate.

Evan Gattis offers no shortage of pop against left-handed hurlers. In 664 career plate appearances, he has turned a 35.8% hard-hit and 38.4% fly-ball rate into a .335 wOBA and .224 ISO. He's not the most consistent fantasy producer, but that power against Hamels gives him a ton of upside.
