Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 5
Logan Morrison's quality contact could finally turn into strong fantasy results as he squares off against a host of hittable righties this week. Which other hitters might be on the verge of catching fire for daily fantasy players in Week 5?

Scott Kingery, SS, Philadelphia Phillies

It's been the best of times and the worst of times for vaunted Philadelphia Phillies rookie Scott Kingery, who finds himself in a major contact funk after starting the season red-hot. The 23-year-old infielder has a grisly 38.5% strikeout rate over the past two weeks, leaving him with a .143 batting average over that span.

But Kingery is also lacing pitches when he does make contact, flashing a 35.0% hard-hit rate over his last 39 plate appearances, yet coming away with an isolated slugging percentage of exactly .000.

An injury to J.P. Crawford figures to put Kingery's playing-time woes to bed, at least in the short term. With Kingery's FanDuel price hovering around $3,000 and manageable lefties like Wei-Yin Chen, Dillon Peters, and Gio Gonzalez on the slate for the Phillies, this streaky young infielder could provide daily players with a nice, affordable piece of that surprisingly potent Philadelphia offense.
