Teheran has been a reliable innings eater for the Braves for the last five years, throwing more than 180 innings each season. His production has usually been solid, if unspectacular, but last year, it was neither. But after a season with a 4.49 ERA, 4.95 FIP, and 4.96 xFIP, and after taking a no-hitter into the 7th inning against the Mets on Thursday, his ERA is down to 3.65 on the season.

However, his FIP of 4.94 and xFIP of 4.68 indicates he's been a bit lucky, and that's born out by an extremely low batting average on balls in play (BABIP) allowed of .239. His luck on balls in play is likely to regress, especially since he's not a hard thrower anymore (89.2 mph fastball average) and doesn't strike out a ton of batters (although he does average nearly a whiff per inning, 8.51).
Teheran is a sell-high candidate given his excellent performance against New York on Thursday.
