After eating dirt in a solid matchup against the Detroit Tigers in Week 6, Mike Minor may be a popular fade in Week 7 despite a strong set of matchups.
Skeptical streamers will notice that Seattle has one of the highest group batting averages against lefties on the season, but that number seems at least partially luck driven: against southpaws, the Mariners as a group show below-average hard contact and isolated slugging. At the very least, Seattle seems like a neutral target, especially after losing Robinson Cano to a fractured hand. Add to that a weekend matchup against a White Sox team with a league-leading 27.3% group strikeout rate against lefties, and the Texas Rangers southpaw seems set up for a bounce back in Week 7.
