Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 7
Bad luck has masked notable plate-discipline gains for struggling Reds slugger Adam Duvall. Who else is knocking on the door to positive regression?

Matt Olson, 1B, Oakland Athletics

Matt Olson's world-beating .651 slugging percentage in 2017 made him a strong fantasy option during the homestretch last season, but the momentum from this Oakland Athletics bopper's breakout has stalled in 2018, with the hulking infielder sputtering to a .227/.314/.362 triple slash in the season's opening weeks.

Yet with his advanced statistics showing a 49.5% hard-contact rate, a mere 9.9% soft contact, and stellar 24.2% line-drive rate, Olson should be on the verge of a breakthrough. Olson has an audacious .320 career isolated slugging against righties, and with Marco Estrada and Aaron Sanchez taking the bump during Oakland's late-week series in Toronto, Olson seems like a very strong mid-priced play.
