3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 5/15/18
Yoan Moncada should be back in the lineup tonight, so don't be afraid jump right in and use him against Trevor Williams. Who else might fly under the radar on Tuesday?

Chris Davis, 1B, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $2,600

The quintessential all-or-nothing player, Chris Davis has mostly amounted to jack squat in 2018. The trademark strikeout rate is still there (34.0%), but the power has evaporated, with Davis holding a mere .104 isolated power (ISO). He's not making as much hard contact, and his average exit velocity has dropped below his career norms.

Maybe Davis is simply beginning to decline at age 32, but he's always been wildly inconsistent, so it's hard to totally write him off after only a month and a half of play. After all, this is still a guy who owns a career .359 wOBA and .258 ISO against right-handed pitching. Despite his struggles this year, he's still hitting balls in the air at an average of 96.1 miles per hour, so the power is still lurking.

Right-hander Nick Pivetta isn't the most ideal opponent with his 25.6% strikeout rate, but he has just a 43.4% ground-ball rate, and it will be a hot, humid night -- the perfect setting for some long balls. The Baltimore Orioles have a 4.92 implied team total, and it won't cost you much to get some exposure if you're willing to take a chance on Davis. Keep an eye on the weather, though, as rain could be an issue.
