3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 5/16/18
Trevor Cahill has a daunting task against the Red Sox, but he's put up elite numbers early on. Who else may go low-owned tonight?

Kyle Schwarber, OF, Chicago Cubs

FanDuel Price: $4,100

While Kyle Schwarber probably isn't sneaking up on anyone in the Chicago Cubs' matchup against right-hander Brandon McCarthy, his high price and potentially low spot in the batting order could leave him lower-owned compared to the other big boppers. Schwarber hasn't hit higher than sixth in his past three starts, and he even hit down at seventh on Monday.

If that's the case, we might be able to get him at slightly lower ownership, and he's as good a bet as any Cub to knock one out of the park against McCarthy. Schwarber has produced a .241 isolated power (ISO) this season, and owns a career .367 wOBA and .276 ISO against righties. He's also improved his strikeout rate this season (23.9%), so he's less likely to come up with a goose egg compared to years past.

McCarthy is inducing a fair number of ground-balls this season (50.7% rate), but he only has a 16.5% strikeout rate, so Schwarber ought to have plenty of chances to make contact tonight.
