3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 5/18/18
Freddie Freeman is having the most productive season of his career, and he draws a great matchup tonight against Miami's Dan Straily. What other high-priced players should be on your radar on Friday?

Max Scherzer, P, Washington Nationals

Price: $11,600

Max Scherzer has been absolutely ridiculous in 2018. His 2.11 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and 40.4% strikeout rate both rank second among qualifying pitchers while his 17.6% swinging-strike rate is more than 1% higher than anyone other pitcher has managed.

That nasty stuff has translated to massive fantasy production. His 54.4 FanDuel points per game are the most for any pitcher that has made at least two starts, and he has notched 60-plus in each of his last two starts while falling below 52 in only one of his last seven.

The Washington Nationals are Friday's biggest favorites (-200 moneyline), and the Los Angeles Dodgers have the day's lowest implied total (2.94). The Dodgers have been decent against right-handed pitching this year, but just decent isn't enough to take Scherzer out of his usual spot as the top pitcher on the slate.
