3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 5/29/18
With a revamped swing, Mac Williamson has shown improved power and is worth a look at Coors Field tonight. Who else could produce at low ownership?

Mookie Betts, OF, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $5,500

Mookie Betts may return to the lineup after dealing with a minor side injury, but he could very well see limited ownership in a pristine matchup against Marco Estrada. Sure, the Boston Red Sox have the second-highest implied team total (5.49), but Betts is tonight's highest-priced hitter on the board, and with most people wanting to save their salary for Coors Field, they won't want to spend up elsewhere. Even those who choose to stack the Red Sox will likely opt for J.D. Martinez, who is far cheaper at $4,500.

But we know Betts is as capable as any of posting tonight's highest hitting score. He still leads the league in wOBA (.489) and ISO (.391), while also adding that underrated speed element with 13 stolen bases. Estrada is practically a dinger waiting to happen, with just a 26.3% ground-ball rate and allowing a .371 wOBA to right-handed hitting since the beginning of last season.

Instead of paying up for Charlie Blackmon or Nolan Arenado, keep that salary in mind for a contrarian play in Betts.
