3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 5/30/18
Shohei Ohtani has been a treat to watch, but he draws a tough matchup with the Tigers tonight. Which other players should we be avoiding?

Odubel Herrera, OF, Philadelphia Phillies

FanDuel Price: $3,600

Odubel Herrera is a solid hitter, but with a 31.5% fly-ball rate and 26.7% hard-hit rate, his upside is lacking. If you combine that with the single-digit steals he posted in 2017, it's hard to envision a realistic scenario in which Herrera is a difference-maker tonight.

He also has a sneakily tough matchup against Los Angeles Dodgers' right-hander Ross Stripling. Normally a bullpen arm, Stripling has been forced into the rotation due to injuries, and he has thrived to the tune of a 2.76 SIERA on the season.

Despite being a right-handed pitcher, Stripling has been especially tough on left-handed bats, holding them to a .256 wOBA in his career. This includes just a 28.0% fly-ball rate and 26.0% hard-hit rate.

Herrera isn't a high-upside guy to begin with, and against Stripling he certainly doesn't have the ceiling to justify his price tag.
