5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/5/18
Despite his dip in production this season, Michael Conforto offers plenty of value against Alex Cobb. Which other budget-friendly hitters should you check out?

Michael Conforto, OF, New York Mets

Price: $2,900

Michael Conforto's production is way down in 2018, but there's still plenty of room for optimism about the spot he's in tonight.

Despite the weak overall production in 2018, he has a solid .352 wOBA against right-handed pitching. He's also coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him throttle righties for a .420 wOBA and .292 ISO.

He draws a plus matchup tonight against Alex Cobb and the Baltimore Orioles. Cobb hasn't finished with a SIERA better than 4.48 since 2014, before his Tommy John's surgery, and his 4.75 SIERA to open the 2018 season is especially concerning. He's allowing an absolutely egregious .472 wOBA to left-handed bats on the year, and he gives Conforto plenty of upside.
