3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 6/6/18
Mitch Moreland is crushing it this season, so don't let a lefty-lefty matchup against Blaine Hardy sway you from using him tonight.

Jon Gray, P, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $7,300

Pitching in Great American Ball Park is usually considered a negative, but in Jon Gray's case, it might as well be an oasis compared to Coors Field.

Gray owns a miserable 5.68 ERA, and much of that can be attributed to Coors and a .378 BABIP. If we check under the hood, we find that he still holds strong peripherals in a 3.33 SIERA, 26.2% strikeout rate, and 6.6% walk rate. Those marks rival just about anyone else on this slate, and at this dirt cheap price you'll also get a sizable chunk of change leftover for your bats. The Cincinnati Reds also aren't exactly the most imposing offense, producing just a .306 wOBA against righties.

While others may stay away from Gray's poor results and the hitter-friendly park, consider giving his strong peripherals a chance in a potentially sneaky spot. You just might run into a big strikeout night and it won't come at the expense of Wednesday's elite, high-priced bats.
