3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/7/18
Boston could be a popular offense tonight, but it's not a great spot for Eduardo Nunez. Which other options should we look to avoid?

Evan Gattis, C, Houston Astros

FanDuel Price: $2,400

Evan Gattis is starting to get things going in 2018 -- over his last nine games, he's now bopped five homers. But despite that run of hot play, it may be best to pivot elsewhere tonight at the C-1B slot.

Gattis and the Houston Astros have a tough test with Cole Hamels on the bump -- the lefty has been strong to start 2018, and has posted a tasty 12.1% swinging-strike rate. Among 89 qualified starting pitchers, Hamels ranks 20th in that category.

Against lefties in the 2017-2018 seasons, spanning 161 plate appearances, Gattis is rocking a paltry .313 wOBA mark and 31.8% hard-hit rate.

While Gattis certainly provides some long ball upside at a cheap price, it may be better to consider other options at this slot tonight.
