Carlos Gonzalez has been riding a nice hot streak as of late. In his last 11 games (47 plate appearances), Car-Go is batting .400/.426/.644 with 2 dingers, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored, with a wOBA of .449.
Sounds like perfect numbers to bring to someone in a trade offer.
Gonzalez still has the ability to get hot and do some good things, but he's far too inconsistent to rely on. From the beginning of the season through May 25, he was hitting .214/.256/.366 with 4 homers and just 3 doubles, and it's coming off a season in 2017 in which he batted .262/.339/.423 with a mere 14 bombs. He still only has six jacks this season.
If there's someone out there who still believes in Gonzalez -- you pitch his hot streak and the fact he plays half his game in Coors -- then see what you can get.
