FanDuel Price: $4,100
Christian Yelich was one of the big acquisitions this winter for the Milwaukee Brewers, and he has paid early dividends as he has delivered a .370 wOBA so far this campaign.
However, his career struggles against southpaws have carried over from his days with the Miami Marlins. In his career, Yelich has posted a 95 wRC+ in the split thanks to just a 16.8% fly-ball rate against southpaws. These marks are only modestly better (99 wRC+ and 20.5% fly-ball rate) so far in Milwaukee.
On Monday, Yelich will be facing Jose Quintana, who has been extremely tough on left-handed bats in his career, allowing them to muster a meager .290 wOBA against him.
While Yelich rakes against right-handed pitching, he remains an average, low-ceiling option against southpaws. That certainly doesn't sound like someone worth paying over $4,000 for, but that's what you will have to spend to roster him.
