Leadoff speedster Trea Turner makes for a solid choice most days, thanks to a deadly power-speed combo. So far in 2018, he's continued to show that prowess with 7 homers and 18 steals. But against southpaw CC Sabathia, Turner may be in for a long night.

Since the start of the 2017 season, Turner has performed pretty poorly with the platoon advantage. Over 189 plate appearances, he owns just a .291 weighted on-base average (wOBA) and 28.9% hard-hit rate against lefties.

Throw in Sabathia's stellar 28.8% hard-hit rate in 2018, and at a premium price point, Turner could be a bad investment at shortstop.
