5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/13/18
Daniel Murphy struggled in his season debut, but he still shouldn't be priced as low as he is tonight. What other budget-friendly hitters should you target on Wednesday?

Daniel Murphy, 2B, Washington Nationals

Price: $2,900

After missing a big chunk of the early season while recovering from knee surgery, Daniel Murphy made his season debut on Tuesday. He struggled from the dish in that one, but there's still plenty to be excited about moving forward.

Murphy notched a .408 wOBA in 2016 and a .385 in 2017, with isolated slugging (ISO) marks north of .220 in each of those seasons. He made great contact against righties last year, with a 34.9% hard-hit rate, 15.8% soft-hit rate and 39.6% fly-ball rate. That translated to a .396 wOBA and .231 ISO in the split.

New York Yankees righty Sonny Gray isn't an especially tough matchup, with a 4.52 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) on the season, and Murphy is an outstanding value. His price tag seems to be down because of the injury, but you're just not going to get a guy like that under $3,000 for long.
