Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream in Week 12
Jhoulys Chacin has a good chance to extend his recent stretch of strong work thanks to a fantasy-friendly two-start week. Which other pitchers are lighting up the waiver wire in Week 12?

Mike Minor, Texas Rangers

Start: June 22nd vs. Minnesota Twins
ESPN percentage owned: 3.6%

Mike Minor hasn't been all that good this year, but he hasn't been all that lucky, either, carrying a hair-raising 5.35 ERA in 72.1 innings that's underwritten by a supremely unfortunate 67.3% strand rate. His control has been excellent (his 5.5% walk rate would mark a career best), but it would seem that just about every free pass he's granted has come around to score, which can happen when you allow 43.1% hard-hit rate and almost 1.5 homers per nine.

What makes this struggling Texas Rangers' southpaw worth our attention this week is his matchup: the Twins have been floundering against lefties over the last month, managing just 31.3% hard-contact clip as a group with a 22.3% strikeout rate and a measly .109 team isolated slugging. There will be little competition for Minor's fantasy services this week, but in deep leagues, he could be a smart play.
