So Jean Segura has been amazing and may be the most underrated player in baseball this year.

He's hitting .340/.363/.490 in 309 plate appearances, with 44 RBI, 52 runs scored and 14 stolen bases. His wOBA of .364 is 6th-best at a loaded position, and his wRC+ of 136 is 4th-best. He's not a power guy with just 6 bombs, but the steals and batting average, especially in a league that uses average over on-base percentage, is extremely valuable.
That being said, it's fair to wonder if Segura is going to continue to be this good. And if he can't maintain that high average, his on-base percentage will also fall, given his 3.9% walk rate this year.
You simply can't give up Segura right now, and if you're trying to acquire him, you're going to be buying when his value is at its highest. Holding Segura for the moment is the best strategy, unless you're in a smaller league, one that uses OBP, or you're flush with shortstop options and need to fill holes elsewhere.
