Cody Bellinger has seen his production dip following what was a breakout season in 2017, but he's still in a really promising spot tonight.
Bellinger is cracking righties for a 36.0% hard-hit rate and 39.5% fly-ball rate this season, and that has translated to a .220 ISO. His BABIP is also down below his career average (.282 this year compared to a .295 average), leaving some room for optimism that things will pick up even more as we move forward. Having tagged righties for a .383 wOBA and .323 ISO on a .303 BABIP last year, he's definitely a threat to do damage.
Tonight's spot is especially good as he takes on righty Tyler Chatwood. Chatwood is getting absolutely thrashed by left-handed bats this season, allowing a .372 wOBA on his way to a 5.77 xFIP in the split. His 4.62 and 4.78 SIERA's over the last two years were already worrying, but he's up to an egregious 5.93 SIERA this season, making him a dreamy fantasy matchup.
