The Washington Nationals have struggled their way to third place in the NL East, and tonight may be another tough battle with Philadelphia Phillies ace Aaron Nola taking the mound.

Nola has been very tough on right-handed batters, which could make for a rough set of at-bats for Michael Taylor. In 2018, Nola has held same-sided batters to a .244 weighted on-base average (wOBA), 30.3% hard-hit rate, and 29.6% strikeout rate.

In this same split, Taylor has not been at his best. He owns a .304 wOBA and 30.5% fly-ball rate over 190 plate appearances, making him a strong stay-away candidate tonight.
