5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 7/5/18
The Nationals boast Thursday's highest implied total, and they are a good source of value.

Daniel Murphy, 1B, Washington Nationals

Price: $2,900

Daniel Murphy is another Washington bat who is surprisingly cheap while their offense is the highest-projected unit on the slate.

Murphy is off to a slow through 19 games in 2018, but his .226 wOBA comes with an unlucky .211 BABIP. He posted a BABIP north of .340 in each of the last two seasons and has a .320 career average, so we can expect that to improve significantly moving forward.

He's also coming off a 2017 campaign in which he was outstanding against right-handed pitching, notching a huge .396 wOBA and .231 ISO over 456 plate appearances. His slow start has him nice and cheap here, and he's got a great chance to take advantage of this matchup and start improving his 2018 numbers.
