Yasiel Puig has posted reverse splits over his career, doing his best work in righty-versus-righty matchups, sporting a .365 wOBA and .204 ISO. This year has been no exception, as Puig's produced right in line with those numbers, notching a .366 wOBA and .219 ISO on a 38.6% hard-hit rate.
Los Angeles Angels righty Felix Pena has limited production well over his small five-game sample in the Majors this season, but he's giving up a massive 50.0% hard-hit rate so far. His 10 Triple-A games in 2018 saw him struggle to the tune of a 4.87 xFIP, and he posted a 4.36 SIERA in the Majors last year.
Pena's struggles make this a great spot for Puig.
