5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 7/10/18
The Cardinals' offense offers a ton of value against Dylan Covey and the White Sox. Which cost-effective bats should you target on Tuesday night?

Yonder Alonso, 1B, Cleveland Indians

Price: $2,700

Cleveland has an even higher implied total than the Cards, projected at 5.04 run in their matchup with Sal Romano and the Cincinnati Reds.

Romano has opened 2018 with a 4.71 SIERA over 18 games, which is right in line with the 4.72 he posted as a rookie in 2017. He is allowing higher hard-hit and fly-ball rates with a lower soft-hit rate than in his rookie season.

Romano has been especially bad against left-handed bats, getting crushed for a .382 wOBA and 5.01 xFIP on a 41.0% hard-hit rate, which really opens the door for Yonder Alonso.

Alonso has a 40.7% hard-hit, 39.8% fly-ball and 13.8% soft-hit rate against righties this season, and that has translated to a .346 wOBA and .192 ISO.
