Boston's David Price has turned in a reasonable season so far, with a 3.98 SIERA that suggests he is pitching better than his 4.44 ERA might indicate. He still leaves room for some fantasy value against him, though, particularly for right-handed bats. He's giving up a .324 wOBA on a 4.18 xFIP to right-handed hitters, and on a slate that is as thin on value as today's, that's very appealing.
Kevin Pillar has made 260 plate appearances against southpaws over the last 2 years, and in that sample, has notched a solid .343 wOBA with a .199 ISO. In addition to that production with his bat, he has swiped 11 bases this year, giving him some additional fantasy appeal this evening.
