There's nothing especially exciting about Sandy Leon, but it's the cheap exposure he gives you to the Boston Red Sox offense that makes him so appealing here.

Implied totals are almost all quite low on tonight's main slate, and the Red Sox' 5.04 mark is the only one above 4.50 as they take on J.A. Happ and the Toronto Blue Jays. Happ isn't a pushover, but he does have a shaky 4.09 xFIP against right-handed bats -- something the Red Sox have plenty of.

Leon also has a not-terrible .310 wOBA against southpaws over the last two years, meaning he's at least somewhat capable from the dish. In the context of this slate and matchup, that's enough to make him a solid play while priced only $300 above the minimum.
