Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream in Week 16
Volatile youngster Domingo German looks to flash his considerable upside against the Yankees' crosstown rivals in Week 16.

Domingo German, New York Yankees

Start: July 20th vs. New York Mets
ESPN ownership: 17.3%

Domingo German has been an extremely volatile fantasy asset during his first assignment in the New York Yankees' rotation. His 5.49 ERA and 4.42 FIP don't look particularly useful, but streamers who picked their spots right have enjoyed the fruits of his 27.0% strikeout rate and 14.9% swinging strike rate. Even averaging barely over 5 frames per start, 7 of German's 12 starts have produced 6 or more punchouts.

And how useful is German, really, if he doesn't chew up the Mets this week? The Yanks' crosstown counterparts are a top 10 team in terms of strikeout rate in the first half, as well as bottom 10 in team ISO and OPS.

The 25-year-old right-hander has upside to burn, even if his shaky command (8.8% walks, 41.9% zone rate) makes this Subway Series matchup a tough sit for streamers to deploy him.
