Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 17
His overall numbers may look drab, but Ketel Marte's skill metrics have been trending in the right direction.

Brandon Crawford, SS, San Francisco Giants

We've seen quite a Jeckyll and Hyde routine from Brandon Crawford this season. The veteran infielder worked an insanely gaudy .372/.436/.602 slash line through 218 plate appearances in May and June, only to inevitably fall off the map in July, slashing .161/.288/.196 since the calendar turned.

True talent for the San Francisco Giants' shortstop probably lies somewhere in the middle. After all, Crawford is still managing 36.6% hard contact and 29.3% liners in the July sample, with a .220 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) that suggests a fair bit of misfortune in his recent slump.

With Crawford's FanDuel salary on the wane and some suspect Brewers pitching on tap, the Giants' infielder figures to be a quality lineup filler in Week 17.
