Over his first two seasons, he has made 467 plate appearances in 135 games and has posted a .163 ISO and .373 wOBA.

He's also making better contact this year than he did in 2017, with a 44.2% hard-hit rate and 12.0% soft-hit rate, while his wOBA jumps to .382 if we just look at his split against right-handed pitchers.

Daniel Poncedeleon will make his major league debut tonight for the St. Louis Cardinals. With a 4.82 xFIP in 2017 and 4.99 xFIP in 2018 at the Triple-A level, he's not exactly a concerning matchup for Winker.
