Price: $4,500
The only team with an implied total higher than the Yankees tonight, the Oakland Athletics boast a huge 5.83 mark against Bartolo Colon and the Texas Rangers.
Colon hasn't been quite as bad as he was in 2017, when he posted a 5.08 SIERA, but his 4.61 through 20 games in 2018 doesn't inspire any confidence either. The 42.1% hard-hit rate he has allowed is 5.7% higher than he has in any other season, and the 45-year-old's average pitch velocity is the lowest it has been since 2008 (as far as Statcast's data goes back).
Khris Davis ranks second to J.D. Martinez in RBI this season, with 77, while his 27 home runs are the fourth-most in the Majors. He's not as consistent a hitter, with a 27.0% strikeout rate and .366 wOBA, but he has a huge .290 ISO, which comes on a 50.0% hard-hit, 46.9% fly-ball and 9.8% soft-hit rate.
Combining that with a favorable matchup at Globe Life Park in Arlington (which has the highest park factor on the slate) makes Davis' upside especially appealing at his price tonight.
