Nick Castellanos is one of the hottest hitters in baseball -- in theory, at least. A 50% hard-hit rate with 25% liners over his last 98 plate appearances has the Detroit Tigers' outfielder looking utterly locked in, even as a ho-hum .239/.316/.455 slash line in that window keeps the spotlight on the 26-year-old fairly dim, as does his spot at the heart of a muted Tigers offense.
Look for the Tigers' slugger to make his presence felt against a very soft pitching schedule in Week 18. Detroit draws a rogue's gallery of lower-tier arms in their clashes with the Reds and Athletics this week, making Castellanos and his mid-$3,000s FanDuel salary seem like a true bargain.
