Miguel Sano is having an uncharacteristically poor season, with a .279 wOBA that is on pace to be a career-worst by a huge margin.

Even with his consistency way down, he does continue to offer a ton of upside, though. His .194 ISO is a very serviceable mark, and it has come on a 38.8% hard-hit rate, 14.1% soft-hit rate and 47.1% fly-ball rate.

His ISO jumps to .220 with a 43.8% hard-hit and 9.4% soft-hit rate if we just look at his splits against righties, positioning him well tonight against Shane Bieber and the Cleveland Indians.

Sano is a boom-or-bust option, but his power is fairly unique for a guy priced down this low, giving him a lot of upside relative to his salary.
