Price: $2,900
The Milwaukee Brewers' offense continues to be priced nice and low on FanDuel despite their high upside. Tonight, they boast a solid 4.86 implied total in a plus matchup against right-hander Brett Kennedy and the San Diego Padres.
Kennedy will be making his Major League debut in this one, and while his 16 Triple-A starts in 2018 weren't bad by any stretch, his 3.89 xFIP indicates he wasn't pitching nearly as well as his 2.72 ERA might make it look on the surface.
Eric Thames is not a fun matchup for a debuting righty either. Even in an inconsistent 2018 campaign, Thames has a strong .353 wOBA and huge .290 ISO over 224 plate appearances. Narrowing that to his split against right-handed pitching, we see both of those marks jump -- a .362 wOBA and .303 ISO -- thanks to a 50.9% hard-hit, 10.9% soft-hit and 49.1% fly-ball rate.
Thames' upside is not at all captured by his low price tag tonight.
