3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 8/10/18
After going yard in each of his last three games, Giancarlo Stanton continues to offer elite upside tonight. What other high-priced bats should be on your radar on Friday?

Giancarlo Stanton, OF, New York Yankees

Price: $4,900

Going back to the Yankees, their offense is also in a terrific spot today, boasting a slate-high 5.27 implied total against southpaw Mike Minor and the Texas Rangers.

Minor has a middling 4.20 SIERA on the year, and the 39.5% hard-hit rate he has allowed is almost 5% higher than he has given up in any other season. He pairs that with an 18.6% soft-hit rate (below his career-average) and a 43.3% fly-ball rate (his highest since 2012).

He's allowing an especially high 40.4% hard-hit rate and 45.4% fly-ball rate against right-handed bats, and that is not something you can afford to do against Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton's numbers are down a bit this season, but he has still been absolutely mashing southpaws. Over 121 plate appearances he has converted an absurd 59.7% hard-hit rate and 33.8% fly-ball rate into a .455 wOBA and .349 ISO.

Stanton has been hitting especially well lately, going yard in each of his last three games, and he's got a great shot of doing it again tonight.
