Another poor offense in a good matchup is the Chicago White Sox, who face a potential dinger goldmine of their own in Jake Junis. In fact, Junis is allowing the second-most bombs per nine innings among qualified starters (1.84), trailing only Dylan Bundy. It's no doubt the result of a 40.6% hard-hit rate and 41.7% ground-ball rate, and left-handed batters are putting up a 5.19 FIP and .341 xwOBA against him.
Considering Junis does have a respectable 4.04 SIERA, this isn't necessarily a spot we want to stack, but we can certainly opt for Yoan Moncada to take advantage of the spot. Moncada is having a truly awful month at the plate, striking out at a disastrous 50.9% clip, but he's batting leadoff tonight, and his recent woes should keep him low-owned. Moncada is still sporting a 37.7% hard-hit rate and 44.2% fly-ball rate versus righties for a .201 ISO, and he hit one out of the park over the weekend. He also adds upside on the base paths, with 11 stolen bases to boot. There's some sneaky upside here if you're looking to be a little different at second base.
