Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 21
A.J. Pollock has been making a ton of great contact lately, but he isn't getting the proper results. Which other hitters are due for some positive regression?

Mason Williams, OF, Cincinnati Reds

Unless you're a prospect hound, the name Mason Williams doesn't jump off the page. Nor should it: the former Yankees prospect has yet to harness his raw power and speed into standout production, and his first stint in the majors with the Cincinnati Reds has been solid but undistinguished (.279/.302/.361 in 65 plate appearances).

But could there be something bubbling under the surface of those middling early returns? Williams has stroked 21.7% liners with a 42.0% hard-hit rate in his short tenure with the big club, and while the sample is too small to get overly excited, it's not as if you need to be over the moon to take a stab at Williams' near-minimum salary. Consider the 26-year-old lefty an intriguing dart throw against beatable righties like Chase Anderson, Freddy Peralta, and Tyler Chatwood.
