Price: $3,900
At this price, Jesus Aguilar is a relative bargain when compared to his projected FanDuel points total (16.2, third-highest on tonight's slate), and he just continues to rake this season, with a .391 wOBA that is 11th-best in the Majors among qualified hitters. His 29 dingers are tied for 11th-most, and hitting in the middle of Milwaukee's potent lineup has allowed him to pile up 89 RBIs this year, tied for 5th-most in baseball.
The Milwaukee Brewers' first baseman will be going up against the Cincinnati Reds' Sal Romano, who comes into tonight's slate with the second-worst implied total (5.17) on the board. Perhaps that's because in 23 starts (25 games total) his 5.31 ERA is third-worst among 77 pitchers with at least 120 innings this season, and his SIERA of 4.90 is fifth-worst. Romano is also a high-contact guy, with a 16.0% strikeout rate that is seventh-lowest in the game.
There are more expensive players to nab for tonight's slate of games, but Aguilar's projected output against a weak hurler who doesn't miss many bats should allow him to feast.
