2018 may officially be a lost season for the Washington Nationals, and things certainly haven't gone as planned for Stephen Strasburg. Over an injury-filled 85 1/3 innings, the right-hander owns a strong 3.14 SIERA, but he's given up a lot of pop to same-sided bats, including a 1.66 home runs per nine innings pitched (HR/9), 41.9% hard-hit rate, and 37.4% fly-ball rate.
While the Nats are drifting back in the NL East, the Philadelphia Phillies are charging ahead, and Wilson Ramos has gotten off to a nice start with his new team. The catcher owns seven hits in his first four games as a member of the Phillies, including five of them for extra bases.
Ramos could be in line for a big night against the returning Strasburg, and at a very affordable price point at that.
