3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 8/24/18
Tonight, Braves' starter Mike Foltynewicz gets a juicy matchup against the Marlins, making him the big-ticket arm to target. Which other studs who could eat on this evening's slate?

Jose Ramirez, 3B, Cleveland Indians

Price: $5,200

There's a reason you continue to see Jose Ramirez as a stud to target, and it's that he's unbelievably awesome. Ramirez is inches away from becoming baseball's first 30-30 man (30 homers and 30 steals) since Mike Trout and Ryan Braun both did it in 2012. He has 28 steals and 37 bombs on the season, with a .424 wOBA and 140 wRC+ that are both fourth-best in baseball.

Tonight, he gets to eat against Kansas City Royals' starter Brad Keller, and Ramirez' Cleveland Indians sport a 5.24 implied total. Keller hasn't been bad for K.C. in 2018, with a 3.32 ERA and 3.72 FIP in 35 appearances, 14 of them being starts. However, his 4.61 SIERA and 16.1% strikeout percentage suggest that those pleasant-looking baseball-card numbers may not be sustainable. His 8.4% whiff percentage is tied for 18th-lowest among 108 pitchers with at least 100 innings pitched this season, meaning Ramirez is going to get a chance to put the bat on the ball.

While Ramirez has hit everyone under the sun this year, the switch-hitter has been especially deadly against right-handers, with the second-best wOBA (.449) of anyone in the Major Leagues. Once again, Ramirez should be a stud to add to your lineups tonight.
