Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 23
Wil Myers looks to break from his power funk as the Padres play four at the hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark this week. What other struggling hitters might have brighter days on the horizon?

Jake Bauers, 1B, Tampa Bay Rays

The rookie wall has hit for Jake Bauers, who's been one of the poorest everyday starters in the Majors over the past two weeks thanks to a comically low .020 ISO and a hair-raising 38.7% strikeout rate.

Things aren't completely hopeless. Bauers has still managed an excellent 16.1% walk rate over that span, with 42.9% hard contact that's been surprisingly stifled by a .149 batting average on balls in play (BABIP).

Bauers' salary has nose-dived into the low $2,000s on FanDuel, so daily players won't have much to lose if they deploy the Tampa Bay Rays youngster against the shaky Blue Jays' (24th in xFIP) and Orioles' (29th) staffs this week.
