Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 24
Kole Calhoun may have finally cooled from his outrageous summer hot streak, but he remains a surprising advanced-stats monster.

Kole Calhoun, OF, Los Angeles Angels

It was only a matter of time before Kole Calhoun finally cooled off. Author of one of the more improbable hot streaks in recent memory (that .437 ISO in July still looks like an error), the Los Angeles Angels veteran has appeared merely mortal over the last month, working a .253/.360/.368 triple slash with just seven hits for extra bases in 115 plate appearances.

Yet over that sample, Calhoun remains an advanced-stats monster, crushing the ball for 55.9% hard contact and 31.2% liners. There may still be some magic left in Calhoun down the stretch, and with the lefty vet squaring off against super hittable righties like Bartolo Colon, Yovani Gallardo, and Erasmo Ramirez, his low $3,000s FanDuel salary looks like a bargain.
