4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 9/14/18
Daniel Palka is showing big pop against righties, giving him big upside against Baltimore tonight. What other cheap hitters should you target?

Cesar Hernandez, 2B, Philadelphia Phillies

Price: $2,300

That poor SIERA doesn't fully capture how bad Wei-Yin Chen has been this year, either.

The 33-year-old is sporting the highest walk rate of his career (8.3%), has the highest WHIP of his career (1.32), and is allowing a 32.4% hard-hit and 42.6% fly-ball rate. Just looking at his splits against right-handed bats, he has a brutal 5.30 xFIP.

Cesar Hernandez isn't an especially dangerous hitter, and his .316 wOBA is a modest mark, but he has been batting leadoff recently, which is a promising spot for fantasy production while the Phillies offense boasts a 4.78 implied total.
