Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 25
Ryan Braun has been in a groove in September but has nothing to show for it. What other hitters should see better results this week?

Marwin Gonzalez, OF, Houston Astros

Already unsung amid the star-studded Houston Astros lineup, Marwin Gonzalez had his white-hot August at the plate (.303 ISO) derailed by a short stint on the bench with an oblique strain in early September.

In the week since returning to the Astros lineup, Gonzalez has looked merely mortal in terms of surface results (.240/.240/.400 triple slash), but his advanced stats remain excellent, with the 29-year-old stinging the ball for 36.4% liners and 39.1% hard contact.

A switch-hitter with slightly favorable splits against righties (.198 ISO over the last two years), Gonzalez and his low-$3,000s FanDuel salary represent a cheap piece of the prolific Astros offense. The 29-year-old is a strong play against soft righties like Mike Leake, Jaime Barria, and Felix Pena.
