The Minnesota Twins have an appealing matchup against Francisco Liriano, but they figure to draw less attention compared to the star power of other teams in good spots like the Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, and Seattle Mariners.
But Tyler Austin has plenty of pop in his bat, with a solid 36.6% hard-hit rate, 38.6% fly-ball rate and .253 ISO over 255 plate appearances this year. While the sample size isn't huge, it's also worth noting that over his young career he's put up a .392 wOBA and .325 ISO in 140 plate appearances against lefties.
As for Liriano, he's wrapping up another unremarkable campaign, posting a 5.08 SIERA, 18.3% strikeout rate, and 12.4% walk rate. Don't rule out Austin and his fellow Twins having a nice night at the plate.
