3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 9/28/18
With 16 wins and a 2.98 ERA this year, Kyle Freeland has been a beast. At home against a lineup that hits lefties well, he may be one to avoid tonight. Who else should we consider pivoting away from?

Kyle Freeland, SP, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $8,900

If the Cy Young were based only on the second half, Kyle Freeland would seriously be in the running for the award. Over 80 2/3 innings pitched, Freeland has recorded a 2.45 ERA, a 22.8% strikeout rate, and has allowed only 0.45 home runs per nine innings pitched.

So why is he on this list? Coors Field certainly will do him no favors tonight, and the offense he is facing makes this matchup especially scary. While it can be tough to predict who will be in the lineup at this point in the season, the Washington Nationals have blasted left-handed pitching for a .317 wOBA (11th), 10.5% walk rate (3rd), and 35.8% fly-ball rate (8th) in 2018.

Freeland has been outstanding this year, but he looks a pitching option we want to fade.
