Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 4
Justin Turner has been missing from the Dodgers' power binge, but his peripheral stats show him to be in a groove at the dish. What other hitters appear poised to bust out in Week 4?

Kendrys Morales, 1B, Oakland Athletics

Early returns would have us believe that Kendrys Morales has finally aged out of his usefulness, with the veteran slugger limping to a .179/.277/.250 triple slash over his first 65 plate appearances with the Oakland Athletics.

But however paltry the results, Morales is making a ton of quality contact, with a 94.4 mph average exit velocity mark that would be a five-year high. Indeed, the 35-year-old's expected slugging percentage (xSLG) of .484 dwarfs his actual mark of .250, while his 55.8% hard contact rate is a top-10 mark in the American League.

With a FanDuel salary in the mid-$2,000s, Morales could go from roster filler to difference maker in a hurry against tough but hittable starters for the Rangers and Blue Jays in Week 4.
